Proper Zoom Room Login Requirements

Important: Each week before class begins, you will need to launch your Zoom application, confirm you are signed in, and then join your class. We do not send an invitation link.

Read the items below to know which step to begin with:

• I have not created a free Zoom account using a personal email at www.zoom.us - Start At Step 1

• I have not downloaded Zoom Desktop Client nor have I signed into the desktop client - Start At Step 2
• I have downloaded the Zoom Desktop Client and but I am not signed into the desktop client - Start At Step 3
• I have downloaded the Zoom Desktop Client and I am already signed into the desktop client - Start At Step 4

Step 1. If you have not created a free Zoom account, click visit https://zoom.us/signup to start the process. After inputting the requested information, including a personal email address for your new account, please let us know so we can update our records.

Step 2. Download Zoom Desktop Client Here. After downloading, run the application

Step 3. After you run the application/client, you will see the following. Do not select "Join a Meeting" first. You must select “Sign In” before you join the meeting to participate each week.

Step 4. Enter your specified email and personal password. You can also select “keep me signed in” to make this easier the next time. 

Step 5. Now that you have signed in to the desktop client, when you see the option below, select “Join”. 

Step 6. Input your Zoom Meeting ID and Enter Your Name. When you enter your “name”, please include your small group number in front of your name (if you have been given this information already . If you haven't, simply join). You will receive your small group number from your facilitator.

Step 7. You will be then prompted to enter your Zoom Meeting Password
